Varun's pov: 

VARUN'S AGE: 5 years old (INDIA, CHENNAI)

I waved my hands to say goodbye to my father, who had come to drop me off at my new school. Today, I was transferred to a new school because I couldn't continue in my old school after that tragic event, which had become my nightmare. As I entered the classroom, I looked around and saw everyone's eyes were on me. The teacher asked me to give a small self-introduction.

Today is my first day of school. My first day in L.K.G.

Without showing any emotion on my face, I stood there with a blank expression and began to introduce myself.

"Hi, I am Varun, Varun Dev Abhinav. Nice to meet you all."

When I finished my self-introduction, most of my classmates smiled at me, and I wanted to smile back, but I couldn't. I just stood there and looked at them. They started talking to me and asked me many questions, but I couldn't answer. Not because I didn't want to... it's because... it's because...

IT'S BECAUSE THEY WERE TALKING IN TAMIL... I DON'T KNOW TAMIL... I CAN'T UNDERSTAND THEM.

This is because it's my first time in India. I didn't reply to any of their questions. I saw an empty seat in the last row, so I went and took it. I couldn't shake off the memories of my mom and my little sister. Everyone kept coming up to me, trying to talk and make a connection, but I wasn't interested. I just sat there with a blank face. Tears welled up in my eyes as I thought about my mom and my little sister. They left me and Dad alone.

"GOD TOOK THEM BACK BECAUSE ANGELS CAN'T LIVE IN THIS HELL CALLED EARTH. ANGELS DON'T BELONG IN A PLACE LIKE THIS," my father told me when I asked about them.

I felt someone's eyes on me, which made me turn my head to the right to see who it was. When I turned, I saw a girl with two ponytails, looking at me with her beautiful eyes, eating chocolate while offering me some. I couldn't help but chuckle, but I quickly suppressed my smile and turned my face to the other side.
